How to convert HEIC to JPG on iPhone

Three easy ways to turn iPhone HEIC photos into JPG — in Safari, with the Files app, or by changing your camera settings.

Option 1: Use PhotoFixer in Safari

1. Open PhotoFixer's HEIC to JPG converter in Safari.
2. Tap Choose iPhone photos and select the photos.
3. Tap Download all as ZIP, then open the ZIP in Files to get your JPGs.

This is the quickest way to convert a whole batch, and your photos are never uploaded.

Option 2: Copy photos into the Files app

In Photos, select a picture, tap Share → Copy, then open Files, long-press inside a folder and choose Paste. iOS often saves the pasted image as JPG.

Option 3: Change the camera format

Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible makes new photos JPG. It doesn't change photos you already have.
